A Request for Participants in a Research Study
The following information/request has been received from Mike Mosner:
I am Gerald Steckmeister and I am conducting research as part of the requirements for a doctoral degree at Liberty University. The purpose of my research is to understand the factors that facilitate help-seeking behavior in law enforcement officers. To participate, you must be 18 years of age or older, and an active or retired law enforcement officer who has participated in mental health services (such as counseling, therapy, peer support, an employee assistance program, etc.) Participants will be asked to participate in a verification of eligibility (approximately 2 minutes), demographic questioning (approximately 10 minutes, and a 60-90 minute interview. Some participants may be asked to participate in a 30-45 minute follow-up interview.
