Present: Wilfredo Ramos, Lloyd Jeffords,  Dan Lee, Tim Keneally, Jim Thurston, Chris Story, Ron DiLeo Derrick Lopez, Roy Zucca

• Financial Report: L. Jeffords- Presented current statement- bank balance as of 9/29/223 $13,171.62. Monthly bank statements and expenses appended to these minutes.
• Donation to MCSC for range usage- $1,000 , check #1609 given to Pistol Chair Roy Zucca to present to MCSC Board and Membership

Membership recruitment and places to advertise- see meeting agenda appended

Chris Story has reached Life member status

Open discussion and critiques of this years matches- hits and misses

Motion presented by Tim Keneally, seconded by Derrick Lopez to eliminate separate Semi-Auto award- passed.  Rationale is there are not enough shooters for both 600 & semi-auto

President Ramos will send all 600 match scores to NRA for classification purposes. Discussion of Classifications and numbers of shots fired to become classified.  Important to file matches w/NRA so shooters can get classified.  Notes new shooters need NRA classification scores on 600 match, send in fees and results. This year NRA sent results for Regional and State Championship.

Match sponsor fees to Association = $50 annual dues + $2 per shooter- per day

Derrick Lopez motion for four (4) matches minimum for awards, Dan Lee called to table motion pending establishing match dates, then revisit for number of matches required after calendar is set.

Discussion about the shooting order of matches, i.e. what match is first. It is requested that match sponsors include that in the match bulletin.

Roy Zucca proposed combining MCSC steel match w/NYPCA Tactical match to hopefully get more shooters involved. May also help Association membership

Annual Awards Brunch dates- 12/9, 12/16, 1/6/24- Dan Lee will do leg work to determine if we return to Rhode’s North or Bailey’s.  Time would be 12 noon, complete by 3pm, would like to keep costs to $40 per head.

Awards fabrication was briefly discussed, pending discussion w/Chris McCabe.  Subsequent conversation w/ Mr. McCabe revealed he will not be available to create the award plaques and frames.  Dan Lee is calling for volunteers to help in this task.

• Notes also the $4.00 for every 600 sent to NRA as an additional cost
• Service gun fees not sent to NRA because of need for standard gun and ammo specs. Many shooters do not use appropriate gun
