The objective of this Association is to promote the safe and efficient handling of firearms by law enforcement officers and civilians.  We strive to promote increased skills in the use of firearms by sponsoring sanctioned competitions.  We also recognize outstanding achievement in combat pistol competition and law enforcement firearms use, by making suitable awards at our annual awards brunch.

Law Enforcement Officer’s Please Read:

Today, Law Enforcement Officers face a mounting list of threats to their safety.  Answer these questions:
– do you easily shoot a perfect qualification score?
– do you feel confident you can accurately hit the small target area offered by a cop killer   hanging out a car window shooting at you on a traffic stop?
– are you sure you can make that 20 yard shot down the school hallway that may be needed to save a students life?
– are you satisfied with your gun handling skills?
– are you proficient engaging targets while using cover; like kneeling to shoot over a police car; firing prone to shoot under a car or fence; firing from the left or right side of a corner of a building or doorway?

If you answered ‘no’ to any of the above questions than you must do something to change your answers to ‘yes’.  Why don’t you join fellow Law Enforcement Officers and like minded civilian shooters, and take part in a Police Pistol Combat Shoot (PPC).  It is designed specifically for Law Enforcement Officers and uses competition and courses of fire to challenge you and improve your skills.

We fire specific matches that you use your duty weapon.  Courses of fire are the same for each match so you can see your improvement.  We use the NRA B-27 targets firing from 3 yards out to 25 yards, the same combat ranges you face on the street.  Target scoring is face value, just hitting somewhere inside a huge bottle shaped target doesn’t cut it in PPC.
Accuracy is first and speed is second, just like in a gunfight for your life.  Look over our website and note the matches that we run and join us.
